Van Life Sabbatical

In 2024, I took a sabbatical to travel the US and Canada.
In our self-built campervan, my wife and I traveled to

- 15 States & Provinces
- 15 National Parks

and hundreds of other off-the-beaten-path gems.

Also take a look at the hundreds of miles of GPS tracks I've recorded over the years, as well as my past International Travels by toggling the different layers on the map.

I created this map using Python, Geopandas, Folium, Postgres w/ PostGIS, Google Maps API, and Stadia Maps. I added an approximate solution to the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP), showing would would have been the most efficient route we could have taken on our trip.
